wonder-filled homeschool classes & private groups
Looking for an opportunity for your child to connect with other children, their inner artist and nature 1-2 days per week? We offer a class for homeschool families on Mondays and Thursdays for ages 5-11. We also open our studio on Tuesdays and Fridays for private small groups to explore a variety of media including watercolor painting, collage, building with recycled materials, carpentry, model building and working with clay.
Monday adventure art class
Join us for a semester class where participants learn how to observe and create like an Adventure Artist. Each week we’ll focus on a new element of art and bring it to life through nature journaling and a guided art project. We’ll explore the garden, animal and forest spaces at Juniper Jungle Learning Farm for the first five weeks, and the meadow and river spaces near our studio for the remainder of the session.
Thursday Studio maker class
Join us for a semester class where participants explore, tinker and make through three themed sessions. We’ll explore the concept of biomimicry and create inventions inspired by nature, use maker materials (cardboard, wood, fabric and loose parts) to build stories and engage in mixed media fun to create collages and integrate paper circuits to bring our creations to life!
private art groups/pods
Our studio is open to individual and small group pod art instruction every Tuesday and Friday. Sessions are tailored to the individual age, skills and interests of each child and can be customized to compliment your instructional topics and themes. We have the capacity to explore/teach drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, building with wood and recycled materials, clay, collage and fiber arts.
Registration
Monday Adventure Art meets for 13 weeks from 9am-12pm. The session begins Sep 12 and ends Dec 12. The first 5 weeks meet at Juniper Jungle Learning Farm, the remaining sessions will take place at our studio.
Thursday Studio Makers meets for 12 weeks from 9am-2pm. The session begins Sep 15 and ends Dec 15.
Classes are open to ages 5-11.
Monday Session Cost: $780 / Thursday Session Cost: $960. Both include an option to pay in full or make monthly payments. A 10% discount is available for families enrolling in both Monday and Thursday sessions (enter code adventuremaker at checkout).
