private art pods & toddler playgroups
Interested in a personalized art experience? Our studio is open to small group art instruction every Tuesday and Friday. Sessions are tailored to the individual age, skills and interests of each child (parent/child toddler groups are welcome) and can be customized to compliment your instructional topics and themes. We have the capacity to explore/teach drawing, watercolor, acrylic painting, building with wood and recycled materials, clay, collage and fiber arts.
toddler playgroups
Our studio is the perfect place to gather a group of 5 or more toddlers for creative exploration and fine motor development. Parents and their littles (ages 3-5) engage in play together through age-appropriate painting, building and collage. Each session includes multiple activities set up for active exploration.
instructional options
Parent/Child Toddler Groups: Age-appropriate exploration of painting, building and collage for creative play and fine motor development.
Drawing Exploration: Drawing projects using a variety of drawing materials including pencil, ink, charcoal and watercolor. Guided instruction and experimentation with different techniques including mark making, shadow, composition and perspective. Option to include sketching outdoors in the surrounding neighborhood.
Painting Exploration: Painting projects exploring techniques for working with watercolors and acrylics, mixing and creating with color and mixed media collage creations. Option to include painting outdoors in the surrounding neighborhood.
Building Exploration: Exploration of construction methods for building with loose parts, cardboard and wood
Fiber Art Exploration: Exploration of embroidery, hand sewing, fiber arts and weaving
Clay Exploration: Make, model and mold with air-dry, polymer and homemade clay
Adventure Art: Nature Journaling & Nature-Inspired Art
Schedule a group
Our space is open to private groups on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am-2pm.
Sessions are $100/hour for groups up to 3 children. Additional children are $20/each. The cost includes all preparation for your custom session, supplies, private access to the studio space and high quality instruction.
Groups may reserve a single session or reoccurring weekly sessions. For weekly sessions we collaborate with you to develop and implement an instructional series featuring multiple skills/projects.
