Roots Programming
Holistic Education
We provide in-person, hands-on learning rooted in nature, art and mindfulness. Our education options include a full-time Kindergarten program, half-day Kindergarten program and full-time First Grade program. Each option features a small individualized learning community of 10 children and meets 5 days per week. Through our intentionally designed Roots Curriculum we develop your child’s sense of wonder, curiosity and creativity, their relationship to their heart and body, and their connection to the natural world.
Art Explorers Full-Day Program
Looking for an opportunity for your child to connect with other children, their inner artist and the natural earth one day per week? Each weekly session is guided by a nature theme and features a balance of outdoor exploration time, a Wonder Art Workshop and open create time. Throughout the semester we’ll engage with a variety of media including watercolor painting, collage, building with recycled materials, carpentry, model building and working with clay.
Art Explorers Afternoon Program
We provide our Art Explorers program each afternoon from 3-5pm Monday through Thursday for your child to connect with other artists, follow their creative energy and bring their ideas to life. Each session features a weekly theme, open studio time and a creative invitation to inspire and challenge your child to create with new materials. Every day of the week features a creative community of 10 children. Choose to nurture your child’s creativity one, two, three or four days per week!
